An RSS feed (or news feed) is a means by which you can stay informed about what's going on at The Egham Band without having to regularly visit the website.

After the success of the first Adult Beginners Course in 2024, The Egham Band is looking to run another course in 2025.
Dates for the course have not yet been decided and will, in part, be down to demand, it could be eight weeks starting January, May or September.
Egham Band is providing an exciting opportunity to explore the world of brass banding. This 8-week course for adults is suitable for those with no prior musical experience or those who would like to return to music.
The course will allow you to discover a new hobby, learn to play an instrument and read music notation. At the end of the course, participants will be invited to join the Egham Community Band.

Time: Sundays, Time: 2.30pm to 3.30pm
Location: The course will take place in The Egham Band Hall, Wasp Farm Car Park, Station Road, Egham, TW20 9LF.
The sessions will be run by Hannah Griffin, an experienced brass tutor and Music Education Lead of the Egham Band, supported by Laura Kee, a graduate of Royal Holloway University, and members of the Egham Band. All tutors are DBS checked, please look at our Safeguarding Policy for more information.
Course fee: £40 (full payment to be made before the first session TBC).
We are passionate about ensuring that those who are keen to explore brass banding are not prevented by financial barriers. Please do not hesitate to contact the Egham Band Committee should you require further information.

Instruments available include cornet, tenor horn, baritone, trombone, and bass (tuba).
Instrument hire: £18/month starting September.

Our beginner course includes how to play an instrument, keep it in working order and an introduction to reading music.
