My first ever band contest at Southend. We played English Folksong Suite. |
| How long have you been playing in the Egham Band? |
After joining Egham band as a young boy learned, I left in 1975. I rejoined the band 10 years ago. |
| Do you play any other instruments? |
I only play the baritone now, but I have played euphonium, tenor horn, and trombone at various times in the past. |

Trombone |

Richard Marshall (cornet) |
| What do you like best about The Egham Band? |
Being part of that unique brass band sound, making music with friends, while supporting and entertaining the local community. |
| Any other interesting fact about yourself? |
I once flew in a commercial airliner at 250 knots, at 250 feet over the desert! |
